Planning to re-do your old bathroom? There’s a huge list of bathroom remodel ideas out there — but we’ve curated some of the best into one simple list.

Whether you’re planning to do a complete overhaul or change up one aspect of the space, you have to start somewhere. Instagram and Pinterest are great places online to put together some general ideas, as well as see real concepts that have been executed. That’s what we love about it at least, and hopefully, these bathrooms remodel ideas from @fbi_interiors give you the extra inspo you need to get started.

By the end of reading this, you may just want to add in a floating vanity, reposition the shower or ditch that old bath — you have been warned!

Now, without further ado, let’s get into it.

Adding A Floating Vanity

Check out this incredible transformation by @zepowerhouse. They’ve kept the general layout of their bathroom, but swapped out the bath and added a jaw-dropping floating vanity. We love how simple and sleek it looks, making the small bathroom feel spacious. We’re big fans of the natural timber vibe of Nevada Plus vanity and this bathroom shows it looking its best.

Replacing floor tiles

When it comes to complete re-dos, flooring is often the first thing to go during the demolition. That’s what @ithacadreams have done on their bathroom reno and it looks spectacular. They replaced the boring black flooring tiles and white wall tiles with large contemporary grey floor tiles and a lovely mosaic for the wall. Bringing texture and tone, without sacrificing harmony can be tricky but they’ve nailed it!

Using Coloured Metal Tapware

There’s been a huge shift towards coloured metal tapware in the last two years, as the beloved chrome has fallen out of favour. While chrome will always have its place, there’s something to be said about the sophisticated look of brushed brass. Our client @georgiaawootton chose our brushed brass Elysian Minimal mixer & Spout set and Finley all-in-one-showers set to create this beautiful modern bathroom.

Fitting Curved Mirrors

If you have been keeping an eye on interior trends, you would have noticed the growing presence of soft curves in bathroom elements. When it comes to bathroom mirrors, whether it’s arched or round, curves add softness to bathroom vanities, while lending a sense of lightness to bathroom spaces. Simple style, clean lines and restrained elegance are the ways of the minimal style bathroom. These bathroom interiors show what’s possible: @curvadellacasa using the Lexi Handmade Mirror and @palmerstoneproject with the Narrow Arch Mirror.
